Sam Wallace has 15+ years of experience in the energy and financial services industries, with a focus on business development and financial modeling, including market analysis and forecasting work. Sam was the Director of Corporate Development and
Senior VP of Commercial for Caliche's prior iterations.
As CCO, he is now responsible for supporting the company’s commercial success via business optimization, development and marketing efforts.
Prior to joining Caliche, Sam led or co-led the development of multiple natural gas joint venture pipelines, from concept to final investment decision. Before that, he spent time as a gas trader and in various commercial roles at DCP Midstream, supporting the company’s assets in the Permian, Midcontinent and Rocky Mountain regions; he also gained invaluable knowledge and skills at DCP as a member of the company’s rigorous Leadership Excellence Acceleration Program (LEAP). Sam was with Morgan Stanley in New York City during the early days of his career.
Sam received a B.S. in Integrated Business and Engineering from Lehigh University, and an M.B.A. with an Energy Finance concentration from McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
