– With Caliche’s latest Open Season for up to four more natural gas caverns (~30 Bcf) at its Golden Triangle Storage (GTS) facility in Beaumont, TX coming to a close on Friday, the company confirmed potential new interconnects with both Permian and Haynesville gas supply. While GTS already connects to seven area pipelines (TETCO, FGT, HPL, KM Texas, Golden Pass Pipeline, Natgasoline, and Centana), these potential new interconnects would allow for the transfer of gas between different transmission systems and gas supply sources. Such connectivity would be made possible via up to three new interconnects with Momentum’s Clarity pipeline, Kinder Morgan’s recently sanctioned Trident pipeline and Port Arthur LNG’s soon to be sanctioned Texas Connector pipeline.
