Houston – October 15, 2018 – Caliche Development Partners, a Houston-based company focused on the development, construction, and operation of subsurface hydrocarbon storage assets and related pipelines in North America, is gearing up for the commercial rollout of its NGLs energy storage by the year’s end. Significant progress was made at the Caliche Coastal project in Beaumont, TX over the summer, including completion of the brine pond site and control center.
“The last few months have been quite productive for us,” said David Branch, Chief Operating Officer of Caliche Development Partners, LLC. “Caliche Coastal’s brine pond has been certified for service by the Railroad Commission of Texas, and we’re now focused on the project’s overall completion prior to the commencement of service.”
When fully developed, Caliche Coastal will provide producers and end users up to 32 MMbbl of purpose-built, salt cavern storage facilities.
