Mr. Rick Allen is an experienced supply chain and operations professional, working within the biochemical, chemical and refining industries since 1989. His diverse experience includes global supply chain management, operations management, feedstock supply management, sales and operations planning, economic analysis, product development and business development within the biofuels, petrochemical and refining industries.
Mr. Allen has held multiple positions within Endicott Biofuels, BASF and TPC. Prior to joining Caliche Development Partners, Mr. Allen served as Vice President, Global Supply Chain, leading all aspects of global supply, sourcing, and logistics for Endicott Biofuels and its operating partner, Sabine Biofuels. Before then, Rick served as Director of Supply Chain, leading all aspects of the supply chain and associated development and LP Representative for the BASF/TOTAL in the olefin joint-venture, where he managed the feedstock, logistics, and optimization of the condensate splitter, naphtha cracking and crude C4 operations. In addition, Mr. Allen has served in various operating and commercial roles and technologies, including specialty amines, super absorbents, and THF/PolyTHF. While in these capacities, Mr. Allen was an integral part of two business turn-arounds and restructuring projects.
Mr. Allen received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Tennessee in 1989 and Master of Business Administration – International Business, from Old Dominion University in 2002.
