Jason Evans joined Caliche at its recent acquisition of Golden Triangle Storage and Central Valley Storage from Southern Company (NYSE: SO), bringing six years of experience commercializing those assets. Prior to Southern, Jason’s extensive gas scheduling and trading experience includes more than 10 years in gas operations and procurement at GDF Suez Energy Marketing North America, Inc. (Engie) as well as time at Uniper and Dynegy.

Jason supports the firm’s VP of Commercial through the sale of short- and medium-term storage services, including natural gas parks, loans, wheeling and seasonal firm contracts. Daily at Caliche, he uses his experience and skill to serve customer needs, optimize the assets, originate new business, and provide market insight to corporate development and growth initiatives. Jason stays in tight communication with plant managers, engineers, regulatory resources, and the executive team to ensure the highest, safe deliverability from the Caliche assets.

Jason earned a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M.
