George Dickinson has 25 years of experience in an array of merchant commodity markets, with a particular focus on valuation, risk management, and marketing. George is responsible for developing NGL and olefin storage pricing for prospective Caliche customers.
Prior to joining Caliche, George served as an independent consultant for a variety of energy, chemical, and private equity sponsored companies. These projects and companies include the proposed Norton compressed air energy storage plant, Endicott Biofuels LLC, Shrieve Chemical, and the proposed Primus Green Energy methanol project in the Marcellus. Prior to that, George was Manager of Commodity Pricing and Structures at Calpine Energy, where he originated, structured, and negotiated the commercial aspects of retail power and natural gas transactions.
Additionally, George was Manager, Mergers and Acquisitions with Florida Power & Light; Manager, Energy Services with Enron Corporation; Senior Commercial Associate with Entergy Power Marketing and Trading; and a Main Propulsion System engineer with United Space Alliance, supporting pressurization systems and large scale cryogenic fuel and oxidizer systems on the Space Shuttle.
Mr. Dickinson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University and a Master in Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Master of Engineering Management degree from the Robert R. McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University.
