Amy Johnson

Director of Regulatory

Amy Johnson joined Caliche as an environmental, regulatory and governance professional with over 15 years of experience. Her previous tenures were with Oasis Petroleum, ConocoPhillips and Southwestern Energy.

Amy manages the development, implementation, and oversight of environmental and regulatory programs and procedures associated with underground storage, disposal, and pipelines. She oversees the monitoring of underground storage data, emission components, and ground testing to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations. Her position interfaces with Operations, Engineering, and Construction to address operational and project compliance and permitting needs, and to determine regulatory impacts associated with existing products and potential changes with forthcoming low-carbon ones (e.g., helium, hydrogen and CO2 sequestration).

Amy has expertise with a number of Federal, State and Local Agencies, including FERC, PHMSA, RRC, and TCEQ, and has held trade organization memberships with TXOGA, NMOGA, NDPC, and COGA.

She attended the University of Houston, where she majored in Chemical Engineering.
